The Architecture
The European ITS Framework Architecture, or FRAME Architecture, comprises a set of User Needs and a corresponding Functional Viewpoint. Being a Framework Architecture its users need to select those parts that are required for the region in question and then to create their own Physical Viewpoint (as a minimum). Since the FRAME Architecture contains a large number of elements, two Tools have been created to faciliate its use.
