       FORTHCOMING EVENTS:

  • Workshop on Freight and Fleet Management - Lyon 5 April 2007
    Meeting of Work Group responsible for examining the Freight and Fleet Management Area within the European ITS Framework Architecture with a view to proposing updates.  Representatives of the  Austrian, French and Italian National Architectures will be present as well as members of the FRAME Technical Support team.

  • FRAME Forum Board Meeting - Brussels 5th December 2006
    Meeting of the Board Members of the FRAME Forum to discuss the future programme and strategy for guiding developments of the European ITS Framework Architecture.
    Presentation of latest developments of ARTIST (Italian National Architecture).
    Chair: Jan Willem Tierolf (RWS-AVV - Netherlands Transport Ministry)

  • Open Meeting of the FRAME FORUM - Vienna 15th November
    A full day of discussions and exchange of views was hosted by AustriaTech in Donau-City Vienna.  It was attended by representatives of national architcture initiatives as well as other interested groups and individuals.
    The programme included:
    - update on the European ITS Framework Architecture
    - examples on ITS architecture initiatives
    - proposals for future enhancements of the Framework Architecture

  • ITS WORLD CONGRESS London, October 2006

    MONDAY 9th OCTOBER:

    "Architectures for Co-operative Systems - the EU approach" organised by Wolfgang     Höfs of the European Commission.  Featured a presentation from FRAME Forum Chairman, Jan Willem Tierolf.

OTHER NEWS:

  • Creation of the FRAME FORUM 
    After the closure of the FRAME projects, an agreement was signed in 2005 by a group of organisations interested in continuing to work co-operatively on ITS architecture activities at European level and receiving expert support and training. This resulted in the setting up of the FRAME FORUM.
     
  • Version 3.0 of the European ITS Framework Architecture
    Version 3.0 was released in November 2004 and can be examined via this website by means of the BROWSING TOOL
