European ITS Framework Architecture   

VERSION 3 (published November 2004)

Written documents relating to the Framework Architecture were prepared by the KAREN project in 2000. These can be downloaded below.  Version 3.0 involves modifications to some parts of the Architecture, especially the User Needs and Functional Viewpoint (see the documents marked *).

The changes themselves and the reasons for making them are explained in the Update Notes.

(Note that it is also possible to examine parts of the Framework Architecture using the Browsing Tool.)
